Our Mission
Mawaheb (مواهب) exists to give Palestinian freelancers and clients a marketplace that actually works for them. Global platforms like Upwork and Fiverr are inaccessible to Palestinians due to payment infrastructure restrictions — Mawaheb solves that by connecting Palestinian talent with local clients through a secure, locally-integrated platform.
How It Works
Post a Job
The client describes the work, sets a budget, and publishes the job. Freelancers browse and submit proposals.
Accept a Proposal
The client reviews proposals and accepts the best fit. A contract is created with the agreed terms locked in.
Deliver & Get Paid
The client funds escrow, the freelancer delivers, and the client approves the work. Funds are released to the freelancer's wallet and can be withdrawn via Jawwal Pay, bank transfer, or cash pickup.
Platform Features
Secure Escrow
Client funds are held securely in escrow and only released after the work is approved — or automatically after 7 days with no response.
Three Contract Types
Choose Fixed Price, Hourly (with weekly automatic invoicing), or Milestones (split the contract into funded phases).
Built-in Messaging
Communicate directly with your client or freelancer through the platform's messaging system. All messages are part of the contract record.
Dispute Resolution
A structured 3-tier process: direct resolution (72h), evidence submission (72h), then an admin decision. The process protects both parties.
Transparent Commission
Commission is charged to the client and added on top of the freelancer's agreed amount. Freelancers always receive their full proposed rate. Commission rates vary by job category.
Flexible Payouts
Withdraw your earnings via Jawwal Pay, Palestinian bank transfer (IBAN), or cash pickup. Payouts are processed by our team within 48 hours.
